Summarize and List Relevant points of Article The article was a study on values in a managerial environment. The article defined values and their effects on managers from various different viewpoints. These viewpoints include observation from those in the fields of anthropology, sociology, psychology, and philosophy. Various sources in the article agree that the values of a manager can have a significant effect on how a manager may behave in a work environment towards both the job itself and the employees the manager may oversee. Additionally, the article introduces the theory that a value is an observable factor in a manager’s style and can be learned from others in the same rankings or from companies with expectations to have belief in these values to have a sense of community in a corporate setting. These values teach the manager the difference between fair and unfair, good and bad, and justice and injustice.
